Alno UK ‘continuing to work with John Lewis’

Alno UK has told kbbreview that it is “continuing to work in partnership with John Lewis”.

The comments come following the news that John Lewis had chosen to freeze all Alno kitchen orders until further notice.

According to Alno UK, this was only a temporary decision while the 12-week self-administration process is completed and it stated that all current orders are still being fulfilled.

Speaking exclusively to kbbreview, a spokesperson for Alno UK said: “Alno has a long-standing relationship with John Lewis, which is ongoing. The three-month restructuring plan at the German factories is continuing and is already showing signs of improvement as production and deliveries are ramping up to fulfil outstanding orders as soon as possible and supply new kitchen orders.

“John Lewis has taken the decision to pause their placement of new orders temporarily until production turnaround has returned to normal levels and the Restructuring Officer has completed the 12-week process. We are continuing to work in partnership with John Lewis to fulfil existing customer kitchen orders and a decision on future orders will be made after the Restructuring Officer’s announcement at the end of September.

“We are receiving regular updates from the German factories regarding production and deliveries and the indications for a strengthened and sustainable future are very positive.”
