KBSA invests in retailers with new appointment

The Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) has promoted Allister Reed to the role of national account manager as the trade body celebrates its 40th birthday.

Reed will be responsible for building the retail membership as part of the trade body’s growth plans.

He said: “I’m pleased to be joining the KBSA team, especially in this, the 40th year, which marks an important milestone for the association. Over the coming months, I am looking forward to meeting and working with our retailers.”

Reed will work with membership manager Dawn Harlow, acting chief executive Uwe Hanneck and national chair Richard Hibbert.

Hibbert said: “We are delighted that Allister has accepted this important position. He brings sales experience from within the KBB sector and a wealth of expertise as an effective trainer and brand ambassador from the FMCG marketplace.

“We are confident that Allister will play an important role in building the future of the KBSA.”

Hibbert has previously said that it is a priority for him to grow membership and make the KBSA more relevant and representative of the industry.
