Franke launches repair service to support customers

Franke has launched a new UK-wide dedicated repair team covering its boiling water taps, hoods and waste disposal units (WDUs).

The full-time, fully qualified team are part of Franke’s consumer care department and will respond to any issues with relevant products, whether they are in or out of warranty. The service is only chargeable for products that are not covered under the Franke warranty.

A new vehicle fleet features Franke’s distinctive ‘Make it Wonderful’ illustrations and branding and all technicians wear Franke-branded uniform and carry official company ID at all times. The service is available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm subject to prior booking of an appointment.

Neil Clark, managing director at Franke, said: “Franke products are built to last using the finest quality materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, but we accept that from time to time, things may go wrong.

“That’s why we are one of the first sink and tap manufacturers to provide a repair service for boiling water taps, hoods and WDUs with a dedicated team that are out in the field. It’s an important point of differentiation from other brands.

“The boiling water tap category is still relatively new, so we particularly want to support customers with all Franke Minerva 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 taps and Omni 2-in-1 and 4-in-1 models if they experience any issues after installation, including replacing the tap in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect.”
