‘Define your business direction and strategy,’ says O’Brien

Paul O’Brien, director of leading Scottish retailer Kitchens International, claims kitchen retailers must define the direction of their business and initiate a strategy of continuous improvement in order to succeed.

Speaking exclusively to kbbreview, Paul O’Brien, director of Scottish retailer Kitchens International, said taking the time to constantly evaluate their offering, and listening to valuable feedback from clients would help retailers to drive their businesses forward.

“As independent business owners, we can decide where we want to take our businesses,” he said. “Once the direction you want to take is clear, then you must check you have everything you need to get there. Does your business provide the right product and service for your chosen market? What actions are you taking to make it happen?

“Beyond that, continuous improvement is the key to controlled positive change.”
