Ballerina pirouettes to top of German kitchen retailer league table

Ballerina got top marks from its German kitchen partners in an influential survey by research company Markt Intern – for the third year in a row.

Every two years, the company polls trade customers to assess 16 manufacturers in 10 categories. These include product quality, complaints handling, margins, order processing, trade communication and product design.

Rempp-Küchen came in second place again and Sachsenküchen jumped to third place from 10th place two years ago.

After surging up the rankings in 2016, Leicht took a tumble, falling to 10th place from fourth place in 2016, while Brigitteküchen also fell from 9th place in 2016 into the bottom three, along with Nolte and Störmer, which were in similar position in 2016.

Siematic made some headway, up to seventh place from 12th.

Christian Käsemann, Ballerina managing director, said: “Many thanks to all our trading partners for this good rating.

“This award is an honor for us and at the same time the challenge to continue fulfilling the expectations of our commercial partners.”

The official awards ceremony took place during the LivingKitchen 2019 fair in Cologne.
