kbbreview Retail & Design Awards sold out

The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019 has officially sold out with several weeks to go before the event.

The awards, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, is being held on April 4 at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. More than 700 of the kitchen and bathroom industry’s leading influencers will be gathering to celebrate the best in design, products and retail.

It is estimated that this will be the biggest industry gathering of 2019.

“This is a really special year for us, so it’s great to see that so many people want to celebrate it with us,” said kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies. “Moving to Manchester for 2019 was the perfect way to show that we are an event for the whole industry and I’m especially pleased so many Manchester-based businesses are coming along and getting involved.”

For the first time, the event will be putting a focus on sustainability by becoming carbon-neutral and working with local Manchester initiatives, such as RHS Garden Bridgewater.

There are 15 awards given out on the night following months of intensive judging. In the design categories, shortlisted finalists come to special days where they present their projects to the judging panel in person. In the retail awards, finalists are visited by judges in their showrooms and businesses, while in the product categories, the shortlist is voted for by the kbbreview retailer readership.

“We’re so proud of our judging process. It’s hard work, but we really put the effort and investment in to make sure the winners really deserve that famous trophy,” said Davies.
