Winners revealed for kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019

The winners of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019 have been revealed in an amazing night celebrating the very best of retail, design and products in the kitchen and bathroom industry.

Hundreds of kitchen and bathroom industry leaders and influencers gathered in Manchester for the biggest social and networking bash of the year.

The event, celebrating its 25th year in 2019, was held in the Victoria Warehouse – a converted cotton warehouse symbolising the proud industrial heritage of the city.

BBC Business presenter Steph McGovern hosted the ceremony.

There were double wins for bathroom designer Hayley Robson from Day True, who took home the trophy in both the ‘Bathroom Designer of the Year: project cost over £25,000’ and ‘Bathroom Designer of the Year: project cost £10,000 – £25,000’ categories.

The other double winner on the night was Kitchens International, based in Broxburn, Scotland. It won both the ‘Kitchen Showroom of the Year’ and ‘Kitchen Retailer of the Year’ prizes.

The Special Achievement Award for 2019 went to Roca UK managing director Alan Dodds, who is celebrating 20 years in the job.

“It was an amazing night,” said kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies. “What a way to celebrate 25 years of the event. I’m so proud to have done it in such a unique venue and in such a unique city.

“Most importantly, we gave out trophies to some incredible winners, so congratulations to them all.”

Hettich UK sponsored the ‘Welcome to Manchester’ Drinks Reception and Virtual Worlds was the event’s Social Media Partner .

A special initiative was unveiled to highlight the importance of sustainability in the KBB industry that involved every table using a live tree as a centrepiece that will now be donated to RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford .

The Sustainability Partners were HPP, Kaldewei  and Used Kitchen Exchange.
