Dec Richard Birch F&P boosts national sales

Richard Birch has been appointed as key account director for heating, plumbing and bathroom distributor F&P Wholesale. Birch will be responsible for co-ordinating sales with buying groups and national accounts. He brings over 16 years' experience in the heating industry to the role, starting on a trade counter before developing through different roles within the BSS Group. In 2005, he became account manager for AHED, an independent distributor of heating and plumbing products which was acquired by F&P in 2007.

Dec Andy Cummings Cummings on board

German kitchen manufacturer Siematic has expanded its team with a new northern regional manager. Andy Cummings brings experience from over a decade in the kitchen furniture and appliance market. He recently worked as Northern area business manager for Gaggenau. Bernard Otulakowski, SieMatic UK's managing director said: "We are delighted to announce that Andy will be bolstering the Siematic team in the UK. He has a great reputation for hard work and professionalism, and is well liked in the industry."

Nov phil lambert Bathroom stalwart joins management at Demista

Phil Lambert, whose bathroom market experience totals over 30 years, has joined steam-free mirror specialist Demista. Lambert joins as business development manager after senior sales and technical posts with companies such as Laufen, Porcelanosa and Geberit. David Perl, Demista managing director, said: "Phil's understanding of the technical issues, his experience with hotel and residential projects and his extensive knowledge of the bathroom industry will help our expansion into these markets."

Dec Steve Lee Deva New CEO for Deva

Former Bristan boss and BMA president Steve Lee has joined shower and brassware company Deva as its new chief executive officer. The company will also change its name to Methven UK from mid-December. "What has attracted me back to a hands-on CE role is the exciting plans Methven has for its UK and global business," Lee said. "I am looking forward to cementing the credibility of the Methven Group and products in the UK and Europe. Methven demonstrates a thinking in bathroom design I've not seen before and I am keen to be part of that transformation."
