| End of an era for Croydex
After more than three decades of selling homeware products to the bathroom industry, Des Maull, one of Croydex's longest serving asm's has retired. Maull began his career in sales in 1974 for a company called Thorpac, selling freezer packaging. The company acquired the Croydex brand back in 1992 and he has been selling and promoting its highly successful range of bathroom accessories ever since. | |

Shower specialist Aqata has appointed Nick Barton to the newly created position of technical manager. Barton has a professional engineering background and over 30 years experience having held a similar role for a leading bathroom manufacturer. In his new role at the Aqata HQ in Leicestershire, Barton will provide technical advice and after-sales support to Aqata's customers and will be responsible for the existing team of service fitters. | |

RAK Ceramics has welcomed Martin Mercer to the role of area sales manager, responsible for the South East region. Mercer was previously area sales manager for Manchester-based bathroom supplier Sloegrin, and prior to that for bathroom distributor Farmiloes. He also has knowledge from the shop floor, having managed a bathroom showroom for seven years. | |

Planit Fusion has promoted James Wilson to the position of product director, responsible for collating customer feedback, developing features for future Fusion design software and overseeing their implementation. Wilson has been with the kbb design software company for 15 years, previously as international data manager, where he developed the latest version 16 of Fusion software and pioneered the soon to be released version 17. | |
