Green has been in the sales arena for over 13 years and his experience spans the leisure, flooring and bathroom sectors, including roles at Domus Tiles and Porcelanosa. In his new position, Green will be responsible for building awareness of the Merlyn brand among architects and developers.

Kaldewei has announced the arrival of Marc Nation to the new role of UK sales manager. The role has been created to provide a dedicated sales focus at a senior level within Kaldewei with a key responsibility for management of the nationwide sales team. Nation has had a varied career within the building trade sector, including training as a painter and decorator, and joins Kaldewei from Crown Paints.

Feb Tom Dicks Utopia strengthens contract team

Utopia has strengthened its contract and developer team by appointing two new area sales managers. Phillip Conroy joins the company from Merlyn where he was a regional sales manager. He has also held similar positions at AW Andes and Kohler Mira, bringing nearly 10 years' industry experience to the company. Tom Dick (pictured) has held a number of sale roles within the building and construction side of the industry and will bring valuable knowledge and experience of this sector to the role.

Fisher & Paykel has announced two strategic appointments following the purchase of the Haier brand. Richard Bowe (pictured) has relocated to Australia as managing director at Haier, where he will oversee the integration of the brand. Rakesh Tiwari takes on the role of general manager for F&P UK and Europe.

Bathroom manufacturer Showerlux has promoted Adam Pugh to the key role of national account manager. Pugh was previously area sales manager for the West Midlands and this promotion is a result of strong results and a high level of industry experience. Pugh will continue with his area sales manager role, while also handling the national accounts.
