Utopia Bathroom Group has announced Chris Richardson as its new area sales manager for London, joining from Merlyn Showers. Richardson joined his father's sales agency business at 17, he moved to Bristan in 2004 and from there joined Merlyn. The kitchen showroom company Bulthaup Wilmslow has recruited Amanda Dunlop as its new showroom manager. Dunlop has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience having spent a number of years representing a leading furniture retailer. | LDL's Trevor Herbert retires
Trevor Herbert, the technical sales manager for LDL has retired after 46 years in the furniture fittings industry. Herbert began his career as an apprentice with a timber company followed by stints as a showroom manager and an asm. In 1971 he joined his brother's furniture fittings company, where he forged valuable links with Hettich, PEKA and Wesco. He joined Isaac Lord in June 2003 until later that year when he was invited to help set up LDL with md Matthew Lord, which began trading in October 2003. Lord said: "It's been a pleasure working with him and we wish him a happy retirement." | |
