I was a guest of Roca UK at the recent kbbreview Industry Awards at ExCeL London. It was my first experience of the bathroom industry's awards even though I have been involved with the sector for over 16 years!

The hospitality of my host Ian Cram, regional sales manager, was superb and it was a pleasure to meet the larger management team of Roca UK.

I have to say that I was very impressed with the management and operation of the event. From decoration, ambience, performance and style, it was a superb success. Having worked within the pharmaceutical industry after leaving university, I am very familiar with the professional standards and styles of various product launches and high level entertainment, I can honestly say that this event was produced to those standards or even better.

Andrew Davies' introductory presentation was most enjoyable and set the style of this informal evening from the offset and Marcus Brigstocke was a superb choice of host and did an exceptional job.

I enjoyed the Gaming Room and was pleased to spend the vouchers sponsored by Neff. The experience reminded me why I keep away from casinos but nevertheless I enjoyed losing!

We at Napier Bathrooms & Interiors in Edinburgh are very excited about the forthcoming awards in 2010 and will definitely be looking to enter one or more of the categories.
