New suppler directory launched

Kbbreview columnist Tim Foley has launched a new directory for consumers and trade to find kitchen suppliers and retailers.

Foley's company, which principally sells worktops online, is setting up the sideline in response to what Foley says are directories that "can include any Tom, Dick or Harriet".

Launching on March 17, companies who want to be included have to support their application with a copy of their customer service ethos.

There is also an environmental brief that means a particularly 'green' product will get a free place and 2% of the directory's fees will be donated to an environmental charity nominated by visitors and applicants.

"Celebrating ten years serving kitchen buyers on the internet, following 25 years in the industry, we here at T. Foley Interiors decided to create a kitchen directory," Foley said. "Not your everyday directory, but one that allows inclusion by only the best companies who complete the application procedure that calls for supporting documents on their customer service ethos.

"You will notice that we are saying the 'best companies' not the 'biggest companies' because good customer service isn't just their sole domain."

The directory can be seen at www.kitchensfitted.co.uk/kitchendirectory and costs £150 a month to sign up.
