Two new distributors for Franke

Kitchen supplier Franke has appointed two new distributors - Leaker Direct and Cooper Callas.

Both will offer the full range of the company's sinks, taps, hoods and other products.Leaker Direct says it is Scotland's largest independent appliance distributor and Cooper Callas, which operates nationwide, has five branches located in Bicester, Glasgow, Leeds, Crawley and Newton Abbot. It says it is the largest independent bathroom and kitchen distributor in the UK.

David Houghton, commercial director at Franke UK, said: "The appointment of Leaker Direct in Scotland cements our presence there and can only help to grow our customer and display base in this region.

"Cooper Callas has traditionally had a large merchant customer base and brings a more UK wide distribution coverage to Franke as well as, more importantly, access to a base of customers who we believe would not normally have access to, or purchase, Franke."
