The Designer Toilet Roll Company has introduced a line of jet black toilet rolls to the UK following, it said, their appearance in Simon Cowell's bathroom on TV.

On last year's X Factor the finalists went to Cowell's LA mansion to be whittled down to the final few, but when cameras toured the house they spied the black accessories and they became a talking point.

The Designer Toilet Roll Company was started by Natasha Meredith last year after, she says, she saw Cowell's bathroom. "Having been involved in the renovation and interior design of a number of bathrooms, I wanted to purchase thee special black toilet rolls but was unable to find any UK supplier. 

"Realising there was a demand for speciality luxury toilet rolls, I not only became a UK supplier for the brand, but I have now designed and produced my own collection called 'The Perfect Package'."
