Shower enclosure specialist Aqualux has appointed Kevin Hill as its new managing director.

Hill has over 20 years experience in the building products sector both in the UK and overseas. He has held several senior high profile positions in companies including Baxi, Pilkington and Myson.

He joins Aqualux from his previous post as MD at John Fredericks, a trade manufacturer of doors and windows.

"I am very pleased to be joining the Aqualux team," Hill said. "It is a challenging climate for many suppliers in the building products sector and I am pleased to report that the Aqualux brand is continuing to make good progress."

The move coincides with a busy time for the company. It has added new bath screens to its 'Shine' range and is preparing for appearances at consumer exhibition Grand Designs Live in October and then hotel industry showcase The Sleep Event in November.
