Schüller kitchen retailers have had their strongest summer ever, according to its UK distributor InHouse.

July 2010 was a record month, beating the previous best month of the preceding June.

InHouse said it had invoiced €770,000 (£650,000) worth of orders in July from the network of 179 UK retailers.The year to date figures show a 28.1% increase on the same period in 2009.

"Schüller has been one of the few manufacturers to really support its retailers during the downturn," says InHouse managing director Wayne Dance. "They've also continued with new product development with the 'c.collection' and 'next.collection' which have appealed to consumers with their new technology, high quality and low price offers. 

"It's been a tough 18 months but we're delighted with these signs of recovery ad look forward to a bumper year."
