John Blackburn, the current supply chain director at Twyford Bathrooms, has been appointed to a new role as general manager sales and marketing for UK and Ireland.

Blackburn, 41, has been with the company since 1998 where he arrived from IT roles at Fellowes and Akzo Nobel. In his new role he will be responsible for bringing in parent company Sanitec's brand and product line strategies for the company in the UK.
