KITCHEN supplier Uform has won the title of Best Supplier Showroom 2011 at the annual Ireland Kitchen Trade Guide Awards.

It was the second win of the year for the County Antrim-based company which, last June, was named Best Supplier/Distributor at the Kitchen Retail Ireland Awards.

Of his company's award-winning showroom, Uform managing director Eamon Donnelly said: "We wanted the 'Walt Disney' of all showrooms, an area with a heartbeat and an atmosphere, as our vision was to evoke a feeling of excitement and delight in all our customers."

The 7,500 square foot showroom was launched in 2007 with 40 different displays on show.

"We ensured that careful attention was paid not only to the flow of the space and placement of the displays, but also to the minute details that would highlight all our innovative features, essential when achieving a full understanding of the products," Donnelly said. "Nothing was left to chance, and winning this award has supported our vision."

Uform, which was founded by Eddie Donnelly and his sons in 1993, supplies kitchen components to retailers throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

"What makes the real difference is our people, Eamon Donnelly said. "I am delighted to have a team that understands what satisfying the customer really means. Without happy returning customers, we simply would not be in business."
