Liz Green, the founding director of Utopia Bathroom Group, is to retire after 23 years with the company.

Chief executive Simon Russell, announced the retirement during a recent celebratory dinner. Paying tribute to Green, Russell said: "To call Liz a driving force both in the industry and at Utopia would be an understatement and I think everyone would agree that 'whirlwind' would be far more appropriate! We owe Liz a huge debt. Her enthusiasm, commitment, sheer common sense and unique way of doing business  endeared her to everyone and we will miss her terribly. Not that Liz is severing her links with Utopia entirely, we are happy to report that she will continue to be involved albeit in a much reduced capacity."
