Ashton & Bentley appoints new MD

Luxury bathroom brand Ashton & Bentley has appointed Edward Carey as new managing director.

Carey (pictured) has over 20 years’ experience in engineering businesses, having formed and grown a group of aerospace companies, as well as having held senior leadership roles in blue chip organisations such as GE, Babcock International and Serco.

Ashton & Bentley has been manufacturing mid- to high- end freestanding baths and basins since 2007.

“I’m delighted to be joining the team at Ashton & Bentley,” said Carey. “They have worked hard over recent years to build a great range of freestanding baths and basins, constantly pushing the boundaries with innovative designs and finishes. We also have some really exciting products in the pipeline.

“I’ve been involved in manufacturing for over 20 years and believe it’s a huge advantage to have our operations here in the UK. We can tailor-make our solutions to specific customer requirements, which is particularly important for the contract market, respond quickly to changes in customers’ requirements and closely manage quality. All of this while supporting the UK manufacturing sector.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to build the brand and extend our penetration into both the retail and contract markets.”

Paul Kyriakou, Ashton & Bentley director and co-founder, commented: “Our team possesses strong product and technical knowledge and a long experience in the industry. We are very confident that with Edward’s leadership, we will significantly grow the business, while delivering value, service and innovation to our customers. We envision a great future for Ashton & Bentley.”
