Moores launches app for kitchen installers

Kitchen and bathroom manufacturer Moores has launched a new app for kitchen fitters to help make installations easier.

The app makes coordinating the process of procuring and installing a number of kitchens smoother for house builders, the company claimed.

“We are always looking at ways we can improve and evolve our already excellent customer service,” said Michael Barrett, sales and marketing director at Moores. “Our new app makes tracking orders, signing off installs, gaining real-time updates and troubleshooting any potential, but rare, install challenges much more efficient. It’s a change for the better – and a market-leading initiative.”

Moores said that benefits of using the app include:

  • Quality Control: Image uploads allow a visual check of the conditions of the kitchen install to be recorded. This allows both Moores and its house builder partners to deal with rare damage caused by transit or installation issues quickly and efficiently;
  • Workflow efficiency: Within the app, Moores-approved fitters can accept new jobs and complete current jobs by sending instant updates once a kitchen fit is complete;
  • Real-time updates: Moores can share the progress of delivery and installations in real time, both internally and externally, to update all stakeholders of the status of a kitchen fit on-site. This is especially important when timescales are unyielding;
  • It saves paper: All fitting and installation instructions can be found in the app, meaning installers no longer have to search through heavy, paper manuals. Drawings and diagrams can be downloaded at the touch of a button. The install and sign-off process is also now all digital.
