Crown Products (Kent) Limited, manufacturers of Crown Imperial Kitchen, Bedroom and LifeSpace furniture has announced the purchase of Allied-Kingswood, the largest distributor of Crown furniture in the UK.

Crown and Allied-Kingswood have a historically strong relationship and after 30 years of mutually beneficial trading, Sarena Joseph, daughter of Allied¹s founder, Jack Joseph, said the sale was the best way to secure the future of the company.

Speaking about the acquisition, Crown's managing director, Michael Head, comments: "Today¹s purchase marks an exciting time in the history of the company.  It means we are well placed to continue supplying what consumers want and means we can add real value to retailers.
