“We wanted to make a real statement so we chose a dark and moody colour palatte of deep charcoals and warm greys. We selected an ebony wood floor throughout the hall and living areas of the apartment which set the tone for the rest of the interior. All elements were targeted towards creating a linear design that fitted with the contemporary look we were aiming for.”

Project cost: £2,500 excl. VAT for supply of sanitaryware and brassware only. The supply only tiling budget was £35-£40 per square metre

The brief:

Barnsbury Place is a prestigious collection of townhouses and apartments set amid the grounds of an Edwardian school in one of the most desirable quarters of London’s Islington. It is made up of 94 refurbished apartments, nine new build townhouses and 15 new build apartments. Suna was commissioned by Mount Anvil PLC to work on the internal specification for all three types of accommodation.

The brief:

J Price Construction visited the newly opened showroom with plans for an executive four-bedroom house it was constructing in Coggleshall, Essex. The site was a former bakers mill, and a quaint stream runs across the back of the site with beautiful sweeping views across the Essex countryside. The challenge for this four-bathroom project was to create a functional contemporary design for each space that complemented the solid oak doors, skirting and architraves throughout the development geared towards the client’s target market of a professional family.		 12water bathbuild

The brief:

Alison’s clients were renovating a substantial detached 1875 period house next to a National Trust common with amazing views. The whole house was being refurbished, but the client wanted to keep a lot of its original character and views of the surrounding area. With the main en-suite, the client was happy to make the room larger, even if it meant moving existing internal walls and doors. The client also requested a separate WC, two basins, a freestanding bath and large shower area.
