
Make sure your photos show as much of your showroom or design project as possible as well as the details. Many promising entries end up being rejected by the judges simply because they can't see enough to make a decision.
Include floorplans where possible. This applies to showrooms and designs. The judges need to visualise the overall layout and how the pictures you have sent fit into it.
You only have 1,000 words so use bullet points to highlight key facts - turnover, budget, client briefs etc.

Judges don't assume that the biggest budgets and largest turnovers make the best designs and businesses. It's how wisely and imaginatively the resources available have been used that is debated. It is just as possible to waste a £1m design budget as it is to create a fabulous design out of £5,000.
