Master Retailer Award for Bathrooms

The Master Retailer Award is the big one. It's the prize that judges your overall business and says you are the best retailer in the industry. It covers showroom, customer services, business plans, overall strategy and financial success. It puts your operation forward as the perfect example for any bathroom retailer.

But this isn't an award for the biggest turnover, highest profit or largest operation. It's as likely to be won by a small one-man High Street operation as a huge business employing dozens. Judges are looking for how you manage and plan the business, and how successful it is in its target market.

How will the Master Retailer and Showroom awards be judged?

You need to write up to 1,000 words maximum describing your business. Use the six questions here as a guide as you need to include as much information as possible. The judges will pick four finalists who they will then visit to evaluate and see the business and showroom for themselves. Remember, only one entry is needed to enter both categories.

You also need to include digital photos and floorplans that show off the showroom both in detail and overall layout.

1. How would you describe your business to the judges?

2. What specific evidence can you give that your business is successful?

3. What strategy do you have for the future?

4. What is your overall showroom strategy?

5. How have you considered the customer's journey through the store?

6. What innovative ideas have you come up with for your showroom that sets you apart?
