Alno appoints new CFO

Thomas Kresser has been appointed chief financial officer for Neue Alno, completing the management line-up.

This follows the sale of Alno on January 5 to London-based investment company RiverRock, which saved the company from closure.

Kresser joins managing director Andreas Sandmann, who will also take on the role of chief executive.

The sale saw RiverRock acquire all land, machinery and trademark rights to the Alno brand.

The company also announced that the first shipment of new Alno kitchens is expected in the first quarter of this year, with production now able to resume.

Kresser has previously held CFO roles at Alphaform AG and Alstrom Deutschland AG.

He began his career with Siemens Group, where he undertook commercial management functions.
