Canburg in world’s top 20 fastest growing companies

Wiltshire-based luxury furniture manufacturer Canburg has achieved 18th place in this year’s Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200.

Canburg, which owns brands Smallbone and Mark Wilkinson Furniture, was previously in 28th place in the 2013 list. This listing is considered a definitive guide for Britain’s top 200 companies with the fastest-growing international sales.

Over the past two years, Canburg has grown its international sales by 110%, seeing particular success in New York city, creating bespoke designs for Manhattan’s ultra-prime residential condominiums.

Chief executive Leo Caplan said: “The growth in Canburg’s international sales, showing an 110% increase in the past two years alone, is a direct result of the group’s long-term strategic growth plans. We’ve long been known in the UK for producing some of the most coveted furniture designs for the home and we are now, from our Wiltshire headquarters, producing bespoke designs for an international, discerning customer base. Our commitment to championing British luxury on the global stage has enabled us to climb an impressive 10 places in The Sunday Times HSBC International Fast Track 200.

“Canburg is now the go-to company for the luxury residential developer, having earned its stripes for its ability to design a truly bespoke, contemporary product that, at its core, has all the characteristics of traditional handcrafted cabinetry.”
