Changes at the top for CDA

CDA managing director Ian Kershaw is leaving his role to become chairman of the board as of January 1.

Kershaw (pictured right) has spent 25 years with the appliance manufacturer. CDA’s current sales director Simon Emmons will take over from him as MD.

Emmons (left) has worked for the company for the past four years. Prior to this, he worked at Electrolux, where he headed up the built-in division for the UK across kitchen retail and contract divisions.

Before this, he worked at Whirlpool and LG and has worked within the appliance industry since 1997.

Emmons said: “I am delighted to be moving into my new role and continuing to develop our multi-brand platform, driving the CDA brand through kitchen retail channels, while accelerating the growth of Amica within electrical retail. We have ambitious plans within the group and this next phase in our development will be met by both myself and the wider team with the same high level of enthusiasm that has always been part of the CDA DNA.”
