Duravit moves into new product category

German bathroom brand Duravit has launched its first ever shower and brassware collections.

The products were unveiled at this year’s ISH bathroom exhibition in Frankfurt to celebrate the company’s 200th anniversary.

Duravit presented three universal tap fitting and shower ranges for the retail and contract sector – B1, B2 and C1 – positioned in the entry-level and mid-level price segment.

According to the brand, the move into this new product category meets demand from its global dealer network for a complete Duravit bathroom solution.

Speaking to kbbreview at the show, Duravit UK managing director Martin Carroll (pictured) said: “A major launch is our move into a brand new category; fittings and showers. With the collections we’ve presented at ISH, the key message from Duravit is that this is just the start of an incredible journey and one that we are very serious about developing our presence in over the next few years.

“Our retail network, our partners, have always wanted access to a complete Duravit bathroom. We’ve listened to what they wanted and have launched, globally, three collections of brassware and showers. Each one is available to order now so, importantly, customers don’t have to wait six months to a year for them.”
