Fire breaks out at Crown Imperial factory

Kitchen furniture manufacturer Crown Imperial has revealed a fire broke out at its manufacturing facility in Kent on 23 June.

The fire occurred in one of its dust extraction plants, which is located separately behind the main building.

Managing director Barry Head said that the fire was quickly brought under control and no one was hurt during the incident.

“All our employees were evacuated safely from the site, while Kent Fire and Rescue ensured everything was under control within less than an hour,” he explained. “We would like to extend our special thanks to the fire team for all their hard work in successfully controlling the situation and we have now returned to resume production as usual.”

Crown Imperial has confirmed that the incident would not cause delays to kitchen orders.
