Franke retailers raise £3,000 for Marie Curie

More than 50 of Franke’s More in Store retailers have raised over £3,000 for Marie Curie’s national ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ campaign.

Rowe Fitted Interiors in the Wirral was the showroom to raise the most money, a total of £531, and as a reward will have an exclusive baking masterclass from 2014 Great British Bake Off finalist Luis Troyano.

The baking masterclass will be held in December at Rowe Fitted Interiors, where he will bake, answer questions, share tips and sign copies of his new book, Bake it Great.

AE Spink in Doncaster, the retailer that raised the second highest amount, received signed copies of the book.

To date, a total of £537,000 has been raised in the UK through the Blooming Great Tea Parties.

Steve Rutter, marketing operations manager at Franke, said: “We were delighted to see an increase in ‘More in Store’ retailers joining in the fundraising fun this year. The tea parties have given the retailers an excellent tool for engaging with their local community, generating local PR and of course, they’ve raised vital funds for Marie Curie at the same time. I heartily congratulate Rowe Interiors for their valiant fundraising efforts and wish them a very successful masterclass with Luis.”
