Full programme confirmed for kbbreview Retail & Design Conference

The complete programme of debates, interviews and presentations for the kbbreview Retail & Design Conference 2016 has been unveiled.

For the first time, the annual conference takes place at the heart of the kbb Birmingham exhibition across the four days of the show.

Visitors to the show can attend any session as no tickets are required once in the hall.

The programme has been developed by the editorial team of kbbreview and includes panel discussions, expert presentations, advice, design workshops and keynote interviews.

“This is a fantastic line-up of experts drawn directly from the industry itself,” said conference host and kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies. “It’s so important that the sector takes advantage of the opportunity a big show like kbb Birmingham gives us to debate, discuss and soak up new ideas and opinions. It’s what drives dynamic markets forward, and the KBB industry is no different.”

Highlights from the programme include keynote interviews with Bathstore chief executive Gary Favell (Sun, March 6) and Paul O’Brien and Gerry Watson from Kitchens International (Weds, March 9).

There are several ‘design workshop’ sessions that look at case studies from the likes of Diane Berry, Roundhouse managing director Craig Matson and Yellowduck Interiors’ Timothy Baber.

Presentations will come from social media expert Warren Knight and showroom design professional Steve Esdaile and industry trend analysis from PWS’s Graeme Smith and Materialize’s Tony Robson.

There will also be panel discussions on the state of the market, the changing consumer and, in a special session, four of kbbreview’s most popular columnists – Trevor Scott, Derek Miller, Paul Crow and Malcolm Scott – will debate the biggest industry topics.
