kbbreview conference at the heart of kbb Birmingham

The annual kbbreview Retail & Design Conference will be held in the centre of kbb Birmingham, organisers have announced.

Running across the full four days of the show, the sessions will be in a purpose-built theatre at the heart of the exhibition floor and will be hosted by kbbreview’s managing editor Andrew Davies.

The theme of the conference, which was also held at the last show in 2016, will be ‘How to…’, with each session aiming to help, inform and advise kitchen and bathroom retailers on key issues and topics that can improve their businesses.

“When we first ran the annual kbbreview Retail & Design Conference at the heart of the kbb Birmingham exhibition floor in 2016, it was a bit of an unknown quantity for us,” Davies said. “However, it became apparent very quickly that the show visitors were hungry for relevant, informative and practical advice and not only was every seat filled for every session, but they spilled out into the aisles.

“So we’re doing it bigger and better for 2018. We have a fantastic relationship with show organiser UBM and it’s a pleasure to work with them again to make this happen.”

Sessions already confirmed include ‘How to… design lighting plans that work’, ‘How to… get your projects featured in magazines’, ‘How to… use data to grow your business’, and ‘How to… create true retail theatre’.

The kbbreview Retail & Design Conference 2018 is proudly sponsored by Vitra, Roca, Burlington, Crosswater, Kitchen Bedrooms & Bathrooms magazine and Studio magazine.

The conference forms part of kbbreview’s extensive kbb Birmingham coverage, which includes previews in the January, February and March issues as well as the ‘13th issue’ – a full standalone edition of kbbreview given out to show visitors as they arrive. As well as the conference, the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards will be held on the Monday night of the exhibition (March 5, 2018).

There will also be daily e-mail show newsletters and a full post-match analysis in the April issue.

The full programme will be unveiled in the New Year.
