Final year students of the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Buckinghamshire New University are looking to the future as they focus on the design of 3G/4 Generation kitchens for modern family life.
A leading expert in the field of ageing from the Newcastle University Institute for Ageing (NUIA), Peter Gore, Professor of Practice in Ageing and Vitality will present the lecture titled, Happier futures: interpreting the opportunities and recent research for a new approach to ageing at home.
The Lecture, which takes place on October 14 at Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire, will have 10 places made available for external attendees with no charge for attendance. It is on a first come first serve basis and interest must be registered by October 7 by emailing Julia Sugden ([email protected]).
Professor Gore is also a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE. His research highlights the growing demands of an ageing population and those interested in future proofing the kitchen industry.
