PJH appoints new CEO

Richard George has been appointed chief executive of PJH, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of bathrooms, kitchens and appliances.

George (pictured), formerly chief operating officer, succeeds Andrew Yates who has taken up the position of chief executive at its parent company Globe Union Industrial Corporation.

Yates will succeed Scott Ouyoung who will become chairman. Yates previously held the role of chief executive at PJH for more than 10 years.

George said: “There have been a lot of exciting changes within PJH recently, such as the launch of Virtu, our premium brand kitchen range, new corporate branding, and the introduction of the PJH Partners Portal online platform. Building on this vibrancy, I am looking forward to entering the next stage of PJH’s growth strategy and working with our customers as true partners – through our ‘together we’re better’ approach.

“I am committed to providing better choice, better value and convenience for all our customers whilst meeting the many challenges the bathroom, kitchen and appliance sector brings.”

Yates added: “It’s been a real privilege to work with such an excellent team at PJH and to serve such great customers. Richard’s leadership will now take PJH into its next phase of development.”
