Stoves invests £2m in new range cooker collection

Appliance brand Stoves has invested £2 million in a new collection of range cookers that includes Bluetooth connected technology.

Made in Britain, the products are said to be at the forefront of innovation in the category.

The investment includes product development, manufacturing and launch.

With its Deluxe range cookers, Stoves has doubled the overall size of the product range in its Richmond and Sterling (pictured) collections, with 36 new models.

There are a total of 72 different SKUs across three sizes (900mm, 1,000mm and 1,100mm), four fuel options (dual-fuel, dual-fuel gas-through-glass, electric induction and gas) and three colour choices (black, classic cream and stainless steel).

One of the key features of the collection is the Zeus Bluetooth connected timer. A free downloadable app lets consumers use their smartphone or tablet to control the oven timer.

Without having to be in the kitchen, users can set and keep an eye on cooking times, save favourite settings and automatically update their oven clock.

Another technology highlight of the line-up is the Quad oven with Proflex cavity splitter. The splitter allows users to convert the 79-litre capacity Titan oven into two separate Equiflow fan ovens, giving the option to use the range cooker as three or four separate ovens.

Said Steve Dickson, head of category, range cooking at GDHA: “The rising level of innovation we are seeing within the built-in category demonstrates growing demand for pioneering features in the market.

“At Stoves, we are the first major range cooking brand to couple the traditional look and style of range cookers with these increasingly sought-after modern features – we’re taking a traditional category and making it fit for the hi-tech consumer. We have invested heavily in the development of market-leading features, so we can offer what we believe is the best quality in range cooking, making us competitive in the market.”

The new Stoves range cookers are available now and are complemented by a collection of hoods, including Richmond and Sterling models – S900, S1000 and S1100 – black, jalapeno red and classic cream.
