Symphony partners with iKBBI

Barnsley-based fitted furniture supplier Symphony has become an official Installation Standards partner of the Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installers (iKBBI).

Symphony is the UK’s largest privately-owned manufacturer with turnover exceeding £180 million. The company has recently invested in systems and technology to help deliver ‘right first time service – every time’.

The business believes its support of the iKBBI Installation Standards initiative will strengthen its proposition and contribute to the wider installation community.

Robert Williamson, Symphony’s retail national business development manager and building division premium projects manager (pictured left), said: “As a major brand in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry, we’re committed to offering the highest standards of installation in all of our projects. Becoming an iKBBI Installation Standards Partner is the perfect fit for Symphony which, we believe, demonstrates our dedication to delivering a ‘right, first time, every time’ service. We are looking forward to working together in the future and having a long and productive relationship.”

iKBBI chief executive Damian Walters (pictured right) said: “We’re delighted that the mega-brand that is Symphony has chosen to support the Installation Standards Partnership as the success of the initiative is dependent on great brands joining forces to support a common goal. Improved installation standards and the support of professional installers is crucial for our industry, not only for today but for the short, medium and long-term future.”

iKBBI is the largest network of independently accredited kitchen, bedroom and bathroom installers in the UK, including brands such as B&Q, Bathstore and John Lewis.

Retailer Ripples has also confirmed that it is working with the iKBBI and that three of its franchises (Tunbridge Wells, Reigate and Brighton) have joined.
