The Sharps end |
Back |

Lessons need to be learned from the fate of Homeform, says Simon Bolt
I would just like to say about the purchase of Sharps Bedrooms - it stinks, even though I know it is legal, it hard to appreciate how it can be.
Independent family businesses like ours have to compete with the likes of these companies who can just walk away from their debts and start again the next day with a clean slate. It is surely not morally correct. I know it's good that they have saved some of the jobs and let's hope they start treating their customers fairly and stop their 'direct sell tactics'.
Long live the honest independent who takes the rough with the smooth.
