Martin Gill has become managing director of And So To Bed.
He previously spent the last 18 months at Smallbone and Mark Wilkinson Furniture as chief operating officer.
Gill joined Smallbone and Mark Wilkinson Furniture in April 2016 to help owner and chief executive Leo Caplan sell the business. The plan was for Gill to take over as CEO, however, a “fantastic” trading period led to Caplan changing his mind and he decided not to sell the business.
Prior to this, Gill spent 16 years at German kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl and was appointed UK MD in 2001 before becoming head of global retail in 2007 and then global sales director in 2012.
