Who won at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2021?

The winners of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards were announced at a gala ceremony at Liverpool’s iconic Anglican Cathedral on September 15 hosted by Joel Dommett.

The sold-out event saw designers, retailers, suppliers and KBB professionals gather to celebrate excellence in the industry.

The coveted Kitchen Retailer of the Year award went to The Myers Touch in Winchester, while Kitchen Showroom of the Year was Diane Berry Kitchens in Manchester. Bathroom Retailer of the Year went to TBK Design in London, and ESP Bathrooms in Preston picked up Bathroom Showroom of the Year.

The Special Achievement Award went to designer Johnny Grey. Trained as an architect, he set up his design studio in 1976, is a visiting professor of Design and Kitchen Culture at Bucks New Uni and helped develop a multigenerational kitchen concept with Newcastle University.

Projects for the design categories were of an extremely high standard and were presented virtually by their designers to our panel of judges earlier this year.

There were two new categories this year – Lockdown Support Special Award, won by Quooker, and Installer Company of the Year, won by Terlecki in Maidstone.

The event kicked off with a drinks reception sponsored by Hettich and after the ceremony, celebrations continued at the Quooker Club – the after party venue sponsored by Quooker – which featured a Back to the 80s disco set hosted by musician and actor Martin Kemp.

Taylist Media managing editor Andrew Davies said: “The KBB industry has never needed the kbbreview Awards so much. It was good to see people enjoying the face-to-face contact that had been so sorely missed. Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to our sponsors for their generosity and support.”
