Craven Dunnill scoops three TTA awards

Ceramic tile manufacturer Craven Dunnill has won the top award for Excellence in Tile Distribution and Floor Tile of the Year at the 2016 TTA (The Tile Association) Awards.

Its newly-introduced Firestone range of glazed porcelain floor tiles was named Floor Tile of the Year and was recognised for its “unique characteristics of rich, antiqued terracotta tones combined with an almost volcanic fired effect”.

Meanwhile, its sister company Craven Dunnill Jackfield walked away with the award for Best Use of Tile in the Leisure and Hospitality Industry for an installation in the Blues Kitchen restaurant in Brixton, south London. This takes Craven Dunnill’s tally of awards to 19 over the past 11 years.

Sales and marketing director Steve Whitehurst said: “We aim to offer our customers the best possible chance of trading success with a steady stream of quality, fashionable new tile ranges with personal and excellent service. To win these top TTA honours is the perfect tribute to the supreme efforts and dedication of the Craven Dunnill workforce.”

The TTA Awards 2016 took place on May 14 at a gala dinner at the St John’s Hotel and Conference Centre, Solihull.
