Crofts & Assinder win international contracts worth £1m

Birmingham-based premium handle and architectural fittings manufacturer Crofts & Assinder has secured 12 international contracts.

The family-run business has recently won contracts worth an estimated total of £1 million in Japan, Australia, America, Canada, Bulgaria, Italy, The Nordics and France.

The contracts now represent 37% of the company’s business.

Due to ‘substantial economic growth and international demand’, it has launched 200 new products for 2016 in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture markets.

Alex Crofts (pictured), chief executive of Crofts & Assinder, said: “Distributing our products overseas has been part of our company since its inception. In more recent years, we have developed our products and services to meet the demands of the global market. We’re delighted to have secured these international contracts, which are testament to the work of our team and export strategy, despite the uncertainty caused by Brexit.

“Over the next year, we are looking forward to working closely with more international customers in order to strengthen our overseas presence, and diversify our product offering further to meet customer demand.”
