Furniture fittings manufacturer Hettich saw an 8.5% increase in its UK sales in 2016, mainly driven by increased drawer and hinge sales achieved through growth in market share.
The Hettich group also reported a 3.75% increase in global turnover to €913 million in 2016. This figure compared with the €880m reported in 2015.
Business outside of Germany accounted for 69% of turnover, compared with 68% in 2015.
Throughout 2016, the company invested €116m in products, plant and buildings worldwide.
Its largest production facility, based in Kirchlengern, is due to be completed in 2017.
The company also employed an average of 6,200 staff over the year, with more than 3,400 of those based in Germany.
