HiB rebranding drives 20% growth

Bathroom mirrors and cabinets manufacturer HiB has reported a significant upturn in business since its recent rebranding.

“It’s hard to believe that it was only back in January that we officially launched our new brand identity, yet the impact has already been unprecedented,” HiB marketing director Steve Kaye (pictured)  told kbbreview.

“Business has grown by over 20%, which is fantastic, and we hope to continue this growth in 2017 as we continue to bring new innovations to market. We’re excited to see what the future has in store and start hitting some more milestones.

“Without doubt, it’s helped lift our company profile, attracting us to new retailers and driving growth. Both sales of our core HiB range and our HiB Novum furniture, which was also rebranded, have increased exponentially.

“But more than this. It has been great to see our ethos – ‘making bathrooms beautiful’, which depicts the importance mirrors and cabinets can play in creating a bathroom that truly wows – has really resonated with our customers. From retailers showing these products more prominently in their showroom displays, through to consumers placing greater precedence on them when buying a bathroom, we’ve noticed a definitive shift whereby these once ‘final touches’ are now considered much earlier on in the design process.”

Kaye said the rebranding had also significantly boosted staff morale, helping build an experienced and dedicated team.

“Our staff retention throughout the company is very high,” he said, “with many members of staff having served at least 10 years. We’ve taken on 10 new employees recently to help with the growth in demand.”

HiB has also opened its first showroom at its national distribution centre in Tamworth. It gives customers access to the Novum collection and the new Prima, Duet and Arc ranges.
