KitchenEx outlines growth plans

Faber and Ilve supplier KitchenEx has outlined growth plans following an “impressive” increase in sales over the last four years.

KitchenEx has reported record growth figures for revenue and profitability in the last financial year, and has seen turnover increase from £776,000 in 2014 to over £3 million.

The plans include a move to larger premises in order to accommodate its expanding team, its first-ever showroom and three new jobs.

The new premises will be located at the Meadowhall Business Park development in Sheffield.

Director Vicky Harris (pictured) explained: “We are proud to announce the establishment of our first-ever showroom for Ilve and Faber appliances. It will allow trade buyers to view an extensive range of Faber and Ilve appliances and will host events, demos and training throughout the year.”

The expansion also includes the appointment of its first marketing executive, Katrina Cacace.

She has spent the last six years working in leading marketing roles across the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. In her new role she will seek to maximise the impact of new product introductions and client-customer relationships.

“I am very excited about joining KitchenEx and the challenge of working with these two prestigious brands,” she said. “I will be implementing a new plan to include traditional media relations, social and digital communication, advocacy relations, community relations and B2B marketing across all channels. Instead of predictable self-promotion, we will create the right story and tell it with energy, authenticity and a healthy dash of Italian flare.”
