Kutchenhaus opens first showroom in Glasgow

With more than 60 showrooms nationwide, Kutchenhaus has opened its first showroom in Glasgow.

The German kitchen franchise operator, which is owned by Nobilia, has opened a showroom in Great Western Road in Glasgow, which brings its tally of Scottish stores to four.

The new Kutchenhaus showroom is owned by Philip Archer, who has 20 years’ experience as a property developer and kitchen specialist.

The 1,500sq ft showroom will have five full kitchen displays – all with working appliances from a broad range of suppliers.

Commenting on opening the new store and “bringing high-quality bespoke kitchens to the people of Glasgow”, Archer said: “We’re situated in an exciting high-street location, meaning customers can walk in and get their journey started quite easily. Having the backing of Kutchenhaus also means an excellent price point and lead times, allowing us to provide a personal service that we can be proud of.”

He added: “The thing I love about my job is meeting people and creating designs. I’m keen to celebrate the craftsmanship that comes with kitchen design and something I relish is getting to know my customers well and guiding them through the entire process to deliver their ideal kitchen.”

Archer said that initially he will be at the helm in the new showroom, but he plans to expand the team by recruiting two salespeople and two designers.

Paul Lee, head of marketing at Kutchenhaus, commented: “We’re pleased to welcome Philip on board and to expand the Kutchenhaus network into Glasgow with the brand’s first showroom.

“Philip’s passion shines through in his work, and he has created a brilliant space where customers can explore the very latest kitchen styles and technology. We’re sure those who visit the showroom in Glasgow will be left dreaming about how their kitchen will look in no time at all.”
