Ron Blount returns with new hot water brand

Former Blanco managing director Ron Blount is making a return to the industry with the launch of a new hot water brand.

Manufactured in the Netherlands by world-renowned boiler experts, the HotSpot Titanium is the newest 3-in-1 hot tap to the market.

The patented tank is made from titanium and claims to have a “unique” water filter, which removes lime scale and any untoward taste.

It also includes a patented safety system called Intelliprotect with an easy-to-operate electronic touch control, which allows the user to select from three safety levels. This filter is included in the price.

The HotSpot Titanium will launch in 2017 and the company is already taking orders for new kitchen projects.

Blount spent 25 years as the head of the sink manufacturer before stepping down from the role in January last year.

During the latter half of 2016, he has been talking to potential dealers and setting up the infrastructure for a sales and service network around the UK.

“We plan to communicate directly with all end-customers to ensure they check their filters regularly,” said Blount. “By doing so, they will be able to take advantage of our unconditional five-year guarantee and kitchen retailers will not have to worry about any after-sales issues. An independent company will be handling all our servicing”
