The Used Kitchen Company and kbb Birmingham renew sustainability partnership

The Used Kitchen Company will once again be the sustainability partner for the kbb Birmingham show in March.

The partnership aims to bring kitchen recycling into the spotlight and encourage a more positive environmental and social impact within the kitchen industry. At the 2022 show, The Used Kitchen Company will again be helping exhibitors to sell off their displays and find new homes for all the kitchens on show.

Looeeze Grossman, founder and CEO of The Used Kitchen Company, commented: “To be asked for the second year running to be kbb Birmingham’s sustainability partner is extremely exciting. We’re so passionate about the industry rising to the sustainable challenge and what better way than to recycle and rehome the outstanding displays from kbb Birmingham 2022. These, often on- off, designs are a huge testament to the brands and manufacturers that display at the show. Anyone would be privileged to have one in their home, yet sadly, for years so many just went to landfill after a hectic week of exhibiting.

“To know these kitchens will have a new life in a new home thanks to The Used Kitchen Company’s partnership with kbb Birmingham 2022 is a real honour. We look forward to working with the kbb 2022 team and continue together to create a more sustainable culture within the kitchen industry.”

kbb Birmingham sales director Jon Johnston added: “We are delighted to be working with The Used Kitchen Company again. Sustainability will continue to be a major focus at kbb Birmingham 2022 and our collaboration with The Used Kitchen Company highlights the different ways that exhibitors can ensure their stands are built with minimal social and environmental impact. We look forward to maximising this innovative partnership.”

Next year’s kbb Birmingham will take place from March 6-9, 2022 at the NEC Birmingham.
