Verona aims to boost retailer sales with new InSitu room visualiser

Leeds-based tiling and flooring distributor Verona has launched an online augmented reality room visualiser, InSitu, which it says will be a highly effective selling tool for its retailers.

Developed in conjunction with leading visualisation specialists, Verona says the online tool will allow retailers to help customers make more confident wall and flooring design choices.

InSitu has been designed to work on any device from desktops to mobile phones, and users can upload a photograph of their room and choose various designs and layouts for the walls and floors.

For those users who do not wish to upload a photo of their own room, they can choose from a selection of stylised room sets.

The service is available on Verona’s website and could be used by retailers in their showrooms to help show customers the various options for their room.

Customers who use the service themselves on their own device can email or print their finalised look or send it to their local retailer, details of which are provided on the website, to “streamline the buying process and drive conversions”.

Commenting on the new service, Verona marketing manager Jayne Adamson, said: “Customer support is one of our top priorities, which is why we’re always looking for new ways to innovate and make sales easier. With the industry becoming more digitally driven, now is the time to invest in a room visualiser, offering a clever alternative to traditional tile samples.

“We plan to start small as we gather feedback, but we will soon be rolling this out to its full capacity with our entire product collection to ensure it’s a successful tool for our customers. With InSitu, visions are made a reality and retailers will be able to give their customers the confidence to find the perfect tile for their space.”
